Introducing our new Website!

We recently launched our new website, which began as a DIY blog filled with home remodeling projects and tips. As our expertise grew and our projects expanded beyond our own home to include beautiful casitas for others, we decided it was time to take the leap and share our work with the world.

Our Latest Project

Pear Tree Casita: A Timeless Blend of Functionality and Warmth

The house started with a closed floor plan, a feature we embraced to create intimate spaces for conversation and areas that can be customized to suit anyoneโ€™s lifestyle. Along with enhancing the kitchen and overall flow of the house, we designed a layout that balances family life with the ideal space for entertaining, offering flexible zones for various activities.

Inspired by the cozy, mature neighborhood, we selected a color palette that evokes warmth and timeless charm, almost cottage-like, yet sophisticated. A key focus was the primary suite, designed as a true retreat for relaxation and respite.

The result is a home that beautifully blends functionality with warmth, perfect for both everyday living and hosting. Follow along on our Instagram for a closer look at before-and-after photos, design planning, lessons learned, and more.

New Service Offerings

As we officially launch our business, weโ€™re excited to offer a wide range of services tailored to meet various needs, including both in-person and e-design options.

Spring Design Tips for a Cozy Outdoor Retreat

Spring is the perfect time to refresh your space and create a cozy outdoor retreat. This year, weโ€™re inspired by natureโ€™s elements and the promise of new beginnings. Whether youโ€™re looking to relax or entertain loved ones, these design tips will help you create a functional, inviting outdoor space.

Setting the Stage: Before you begin, imagine your ideal outdoor space. Consider how youโ€™ll use it and the atmosphere you want to create.

Color Scheme: Start with a base color for large items like furniture, then layer in complementary and accent colors with pillows, throws, and accessories to set the mood and guide your design choices.

Furniture Layout:ย Arrange your seating for comfort and flexibility. A sofa or modular seating can adapt to different occasions, while lounge chairs add variety. Add cushions, throws, and low-profile tables for function and style.

Grounding the Space with Rugs: An outdoor rug helps anchor your seating area, providing both comfort and definition. Choose a textured, woven rug that complements your color scheme.

Lighting: Layer lighting for ambiance. Use string lights, wall sconces, or solar lanterns for an inviting glow, and freestanding lanterns or candles for warmth.

Bring in Greenery: Incorporate plants in various planters or hanging baskets to add color and a cozy feel to your space.

Bonus Features!

Privacy Screens:ย Add exterior curtains or free-standing screens for privacy and visual interest.

Fire Feature:ย A fire table or column adds warmth and ambiance, perfect for cooler nights.

Water Feature: A small fountain or pond creates a soothing atmosphere.
