A Season of Pause & Catching Our Breath!
It’s been a little while since our last check-in, and as we finally start to settle into fall, we wanted to take a moment to say hello. This isn’t our usual, full newsletter, but rather a little note from us to check in, share what we’ve been up to, and let you know we’re still here (just with our hands full!).
What’s New With Us!
Between family vacations, the back-to-school shuffle, and a few special family events, the last couple of months have been a blur of joyful chaos. From planning a quinceañera for one of our girls to helping a friend’s family celebrate theirs, it’s been a season full of joyful gatherings and creative projects, just of a different kind.
As we wrap up our annual Family Hayride and Haunted Trail (one of our favorite fall traditions!), we’re looking forward to a slower pace, fresh inspiration, and sharing more design content with you again soon.
Even though it’s been quieter on social media, our creative wheels haven’t stopped turning. We’ve been gathering inspiration for upcoming projects, dreaming up new ideas for the holiday season, and preparing to share more design stories once things slow down a bit.

The Vanity That Started It All
Some spaces are designed from inspiration. Others feel like destiny.
Before my dream closet ever existed, there was a single piece of furniture i couldn’t forget, my aunt’s vintage vanity. I can still remember the scent of her perfume and the way i felt sitting there as a little girl.
That same vanity eventually found its way back to me years later, and it changed everything.

Cafesito Corner
Lately, life has been a mix of school routines, family celebrations, and a whole lot of planning behind the scenes. Between back-to-school season, family visiting from abroad, and a beautiful quinceañera celebration for one of our girls, it’s been a full, and joyfully chaotic, times.
We’ve spent our weekends surrounded by loved ones, working on decorations, planning events, and soaking in those rare family moments that make all the busyness worth it. We even managed to sneak in a few custom projects.
As we enter October, our focus has turned to one of our favorite annual traditions, our family hayride and haunted trail event. It’s a project that blends our love for creativity, community, and a touch of spooky fun!
We haven’t had many quiet, cozy evenings just yet, but we’ve had plenty of shared coffees, laughter, and creative messes. Once the hayride is wrapped up, we’re hoping to slow things down a bit, get back on track, and start browsing our favorite local shops again for inspiration..
After a whirlwind of moments filled with family, celebrations, and creative chaos, this mantra feels like exactly what we need, a reminder that even in busy seasons, there’s beauty in small moments. From shared laughter over coffee to the quiet satisfaction of completing a project, we’re learning to pause, breathe, and appreciate it all.
